When I was in school, I shared a darkroom with a talented (although somewhat pompous) photographer who was shooting all his photos in infrared black and white film… I totally fell in love with the look of the images and decided to try it out.

As it happens sometimes in a place filled with artists, there is synergy; an exchange of ideas and concepts. I realized as much as I like the infrared images I was creating, I need to do something “else”. Finally someone introduced me to photo oils and hand coloring.
